Mubs are the player characters in Minigame Madness.

Lore

Biology

Mubs are a unique, color-shifting species. They cannot die or reproduce, so their population remains constant. While they do not feel pain, they can be temporarily knocked out.

Origin

Their home planet was ravaged by a mysterious illness, which caused the afflicted Mubs to turn gray and exhibit cult-like behavior. To escape this plague, the surviving healthy Mubs boarded a space station, and have been traversing the cosmos in search of a new home planet ever since, while residing in their individual condos. The quest for a new home planet has already spanned hundreds of years and is expected to continue for many more.

To combat boredom in the vast emptiness of space, Mubs began developing and frequently playing virtual reality minigames. As time passed, these minigames turned into both a symbolic and literal centerpiece of the space station, fostering a culture of playful competition and establishing a reward system.
