Robot Ruckus is a last-man-standing wave-based shooter minigame in which you fight an ever-increasing amount of robots to survive.

Description

Strategies

Don't forget to aim

Beginners often don't aim, and instead rotate their body towards their target through movement alone. While this is technically functional, it isn't competitively functional. Rotating like this costs time & doesn't support aiming vertically, both of which will kill you.

For gamepad users, aiming might actually be inconvenient, so this strategy doesn't apply to them. If you must use gamepad, try spraying more and sticking around other players.

Spray & pray

Got a crowd of robots clumped together? Save time & effort by holding the shoot button to spray them down.

Jump over robots

You can jump over robots, don't forget to make use of it in tight situations.

Kite the robots

Walk circles around the hordes of robots to cluster them together while you keep shooting at them from the sides. You can jump over the rocks to increase your circle's radius.

Keep track of your ammo

You can roughly see how much ammo you have left by checking how bright the lit elements on the gun are. Is your gun dark while a horde is coming at you? RUN!

Avoid wasting bullets

This goes both ways. Don't shoot bullets when you're aiming at nothing, and shoot more when your ammo canister is (close to being) full, because you'll otherwise waste bullet regeneration considering it can't overflow.
